Small Businesses Come Together For Sept 21 Event to Recover New Orleans and The Gulf South

NEW ORLEANS – Small businesses are gathering in New Orleans to create recovery solutions in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. Looking forward to Tuesday’s Ida Recovery Business Mixer Event at 400 Poydras Street, small business leaders are joining with City, Community & Government representatives to discuss solutions & innovation amid a region in distress. At the cornerstone of the event – the connection between businesses to promote work opportunities in response to Hurricane Ida in Louisiana & the Gulf Coast.

Hurricane Ida has greatly impacted New Orleans and the surrounding areas, thus the Ida Recovery Business Mixer Event seeks to promote small businesses to connect the community and Government to further recovery efforts in the affected region; establishing vital connections for response efforts. Small Businesses have the opportunity to give a 60-second introduction pitch & enjoy an evening of networking to the sounds of a live smooth jazz artist. Representatives from the Small Business Administration, Mayor’s Office – as well as other agency representatives will be in attendance. Light hors d’oeuvre will be served along with beverages.

The Ida Recovery Mixer Event will promote small businesses to connect with the community and Government to further response and recovery efforts in the affected area of Hurricane Ida.
