NEW ORLEANS – In gearing up for an exciting season of festivities, Riverwalk Outlets announces a series of holiday-themed events through the end of the year. From spooky Halloween to the magic of Christmas, there’s something for everyone.
The evens kick off with Halloween Fest on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 3-6 p.m. Families are invited to enjoy a variety of spooky activities, including indoor trick-or-treating and a second line to lead spectators to the Krewe of Boo Parade, New Orleans’ official Halloween parade happening just blocks away.
Here’s a rundown of all the seasonal events at Riverwalk Outlets:
- Oct. 19 – Halloween Fest
Enjoy spooktacular activities, indoor trick-or-treating, and a second line to the Krewe of Boo Parade - Nov. 26 – Tree Lighting Ceremony
Join us for the annual Riverwalk Christmas tree lighting in Spanish Plaza, kicking off the holiday season in spectacular fashion - Dec. 5 – 11 – Raising Canes on Gingerbread Lane
Experience the magic of the season with Riverwalk’s enchanting Gingerbread Village, sponsored by Raising Cane’s - Dec. 7 and 14 – Movies Under the Stars
Enjoy family-friendly outdoor movie nights with screenings of holiday favorites, including The Polar Express (Dec. 7) and ELF (Dec. 14). Free and open to the public. - Dec. 7, 22, 28 and 29 – Gingerbread Lane House Building Workshop Bring your krewe to Louisiana’s largest Gingerbread Village and build your own gingerbread house at these interactive workshops. 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. daily.
- Dec. 22 – *Adults Only* Gingerbread Lane: Boozy After Dark Bash Dance the night away with DJ Polo, craft your own gingerbread house, and BYOB for this fun and festive 21+ event.
