NORD Teen Council to Host Annual Teen Mardi Gras Ball

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission is pleased to announce the return of its Annual Teen Mardi Gras Ball. This event will take place on Friday, Feb. 14, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Joe W. Brown Gymnasium, located at 5601 Read Blvd. There with be live entertainment by DENISIA and BJ SO COLE.

The free event is open to teens ages 13 to17, and promises an unforgettable evening of music, celebration, and Mardi Gras spirit.  All attendees are asked to wear formal attire, including evening gowns, suits or shirts with ties, paired with sneakers.

“The Teen Mardi Gras Ball is one of our most exciting events of the year,” said NORD CEO Larry Barabino Jr. “It will give young people a safe and vibrant space to celebrate the season with their peers. We are proud to provide opportunities for teens to engage in positive experiences that build community and lasting memories.”
