NOLA Teen Sneaker Ball Presented by Cultivating Youth and Daughters Beyond Incarceration, Nov. 12

NEW ORLEANS – Cultivating Youth and Daughters Beyond Incarceration (two nonprofit, 501c3 organizations) have put together a FREE NOLA Youth Sneaker Ball! This formal ball will be a great night filled with an elegant ambiance, gourmet food, special guest performers & more! Teens get your gowns, blazers/suits/tux and flyest kicks ready. Saturday, Nov. 12, from 7-11 p.m. is our NOLA Teen Sneaker Ball!

The purpose of the NOLA Youth Sneaker Ball is to be a connector between youth programs, jobs and resources for youth across the city of New Orleans. We know that most youth express themselves through their tennis shoes, so we think this will be the perfect combination of grabbing the youth’s attention and having them willingly come to a space that is safe while exposing them to more youth opportunities. We are encouraging all local youth-based organizations to be a part of this event by setting up informational tables and allowing youth to register on-site.

Event Goal:

Currently, there are 150 teens registered for the ball. The event plans to host 300 teens total. The current goal is to raise $6,000 more dollars to be able to cover the overhead cost of the sneaker ball. All monies will pay for the event venue, security, marketing, entertainers, photographer/videographer, decor, gift bags, food, drinks, etc. Sponsors will be acknowledged across all youth merchandise and advertising mediums. Monetary and in-kind donations are welcomed and accepted. Register and find more information HERE.
