NEW ORLEANS – Louisiana solidified its place in the global automotive industry as the 2025 National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Show successfully wrapped up its four-day annual event at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center last week. Recognized as the world’s largest gathering of automotive professionals, the event brought 22,000 dealership representatives, industry leaders, and affiliates together for networking, key note sessions, and workshops on emerging auto industry trends.
The expansive expo showcased cutting-edge products and technologies that are shaping the automotive sector. A notable highlight was the visit of an international delegation from Finland to Louisiana dealership Mossy Motors, where they toured the facility, met with management and staff, and participated in a cross-cultural exchange of ideas and industry insights.
“The NADA Show continues to be an invaluable platform for advancing innovation and fostering productivity. These gatherings provide essential opportunities for collaboration that directly benefit Louisiana’s auto industry,” said Coulter McMahen, President and CEO of the Louisiana Automobile Dealers Association (LADA). “LADA was honored to host our international peers in New Orleans, facilitating meaningful discussions about the future of automotive retail in our home state and abroad.”
This year marked the 11th time New Orleans has hosted the NADA Show since 1973, further underscoring the city’s reputation as a premier destination for large-scale conventions.
“As lifelong Louisianans, we know our home state is special,” said Kristie Hebert, Chairperson of the LADA Board of Directors. “Each time the NADA Show comes to town, it’s a fantastic opportunity for LADA members to highlight our expertise in the industry while sharing Louisiana’s unique culture, amazing food, lively music, and southern hospitality with our automotive peers from around the world.”
The Louisiana Automobile Dealers Association represents over 350 new car and heavy truck dealers statewide, advocating for local dealerships and promoting their essential role in the economy. LADA’s initiatives include workforce development and advancing the interests of franchised dealerships across Louisiana.
