NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute (NOCHI) announced Hancock Whitney as the Presenting Sponsor of its annual fundraising event, Cooking for a Cause – Wednesday, Sept. 10, at NOCHI, 725 Howard Ave. NOCHI shares that Hancock Whitney’s continued partnership underscores their commitment to the region’s culinary and hospitality industries and a new generation of aspiring chefs.
Cooking for a Cause presented by Hancock Whitney, is a two-week, online silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind curated experiences that culminates in a soiree overlooking the city. The auction and event bring together industry and community leaders, NOCHI alumni, and food and cocktail enthusiasts for an evening of gourmet cuisine, hand-crafted cocktails and mocktails, and lively entertainment. Proceeds benefit NOCHI’s signature, six-month certificate programs in Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Arts, and hospitality investment training offerings.
