New Orleans Children & Youth Planning Board to Celebrate Youth Voices at Free Community Festival

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Children & Youth Planning Board (CYPB) will host the Youth Connections Festival on Saturday, July 27, at Ashé Cultural Arts Center to celebrate young people driving positive change in New Orleans. The festival highlights the work of CYPB’s Revolutionary Researchers, a group of youth leaders exploring youth experiences of food insecurity, mental health in schools, public transportation and the minimum wage in New Orleans. Young people (ages 12-24) are invited to engage in youth-led conversations and add their voices, ideas and recommendations for action on various issues. The event will feature games, prizes, live podcasting, artwork, food and more.
