BATON ROUGE — The 83rd Annual State Convention and Leadership Conference, themed “Reigniting the Call for Justice”, will take place from October 2-4, 2025, at the Crowne Plaza – Baton Rouge (5500 Hilton Ave, Baton Rouge, Louisiana). Guest Speaker for the Freedom Fund Gala is Roland Martin, an American Journalist.
“This year’s convention comes at a critical time for our communities. We are witnessing unprecedented challenges to our civil rights, but also witnessing extraordinary opportunities to organize, educate, and lead,” said Michael McClanahan, NAACP Louisiana State Conference President. “Our 83rd Annual Convention is not just a meeting, it is a movement. With voices like Roland Martin and the collective strength of our people, we are charting a path forward for justice and liberation across Louisiana.
The Conference is open to the public. Conference Registration fee is $300.00 per person. The Freedom Fund Gala will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 7:00 pm. Tickets for the Gala are $150.00 per person; Table of 10 – $1,500.00.
This year’s event is particularly exciting, featuring a diverse range of keynote speakers, hands-on workshops, and panel discussions that will collectively deepen our commitment to justice.
