Mandeville’s 41st Annual Festival of The Lake Announces Entertainment Lineup

MANDEVILLE – Festival of the Lake organizers announced that some of Louisiana’s most popular musical acts will highlight the 41st annual fest at Our Lady of the Lake Church and School at 312 Lafitte St. in Mandeville from Friday, Nov. 1, through Sunday, Nov. Presented by Abadie Engineering, the Northshore family event is free and open to the public.

NBC’s “The Voice” finalist Karen Waldrup, Bag of Donuts, Christian Serpas & Ghost Town and Four Unplugged are among the many live musical acts scheduled for the Festival of the Lake, which has been known for its live music, Southern delicacies and family-friendly entertainment for residents of Southeast Louisiana for the past four decades.

Dozens of everyone’s favorite dishes will be served over the weekend for the thousands of expected festivalgoers, including gumbo, BBQ brisket, fried chicken on a stick, pizza, funnel cake, Bananas Foster, frozen daiquiris and much more.

Families and kids will be entertained all weekend with firetruck rides, face painting, arts and crafts, magic shows, and music fun with Northlake Academy of Music. Also, you don’t want to miss Bingo on Saturday afternoon and the chance to win $5,000 in the jackpot game.

Benefitting Our Lady of the Lake Church, Festival of the Lake is held on the school and church grounds and has been part of Mandeville’s history and tradition for over 41 years with the festival known best for its free top-of-the-line live entertainment, various food booths and family fun and games.

4 – 6 p.m. NBC’s “The Voice” finalist Karen Waldrup
