NEW ORLEANS – The LGBTLOL Queer Comedy Fest today announced its full schedule and lineup for its 4th annual festival, taking place Thursday, May 29, to Sunday, June 1, in New Orleans.
Bringing together over 50 of the funniest queer-identifying comedians from across the U.S. and Canada, festival organizers share this year’s festival isn’t just a gut-busting showcase of LGBTQIA+ talent and humor — it’s a powerful, unapologetic statement in the face of dangerous legislation and erasure: We’re here, we’re hilarious, and we’re louder than ever.
More than a comedy festival, LGBTLOL is a gathering space for self-expression, affirmation, and queer joy. Audiences can expect a welcoming, inclusive environment designed for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies alike — a true reflection of the festival’s commitment to creating spaces where all identities are celebrated, not just tolerated.
“LGBTLOL isn’t just about getting laughs. It’s about making noise in a world that sometimes tries to silence us,” said Founder Ryan Rogers. “New Orleans is the perfect backdrop for our festival — a city known for its unwavering embrace of diversity. There’s no better place to turn up the volume on queer joy.”
