NEW ORLEANS – This weekend, the Krewe of Orpheus will showcase their floats, designed by Creative Director Derek Franklin, with the 2025 theme “As Above, So Below.”
The event will also feature the krewe’s annual Cocktail and Appetizer Contest in which all float lieutenants prepare an adult libation and small bite mirroring their float’s title for all guests to sample. Captain Sonny Borey will also use the event to choose from krewe member submitted hand-decorated tambourines to be presented to Orpheus Monarch, Bianca Del Rio, and Orpheuscapade headliners, Brothers Osborne, at the 2025 parade day press conference. A highlight of year’s Open House will include a performance by the St. Paul’s Marching Wolves.
Orpheuscapade tickets and other Orpheus merchandise will be available for purchase.
