NEW ORLEANS – The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce its annual Black & Gold Gala, presented by CF Industries, on Friday, June 28. This year’s event, themed “The Bye Year,” will be held at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center due to ongoing renovations at the New Orleans Saints Training Facility.
The gala promises an evening of celebration and community spirit with an open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment and a silent auction featuring a curated selection of local gifts, certificates and travel experiences. Attendees are encouraged to dress in cocktail attire for this landmark event.
Ruth Lawson, president of the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the significance of the chamber’s work in the community and the crucial role events like the Black & Gold Gala play in supporting these efforts.
“The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to fostering economic growth, advocating for public policy improvements and enhancing the quality of life in our community,” said Lawson. “Events like the Black & Gold Gala are vital as they fund our advocacy and public policy initiatives, ensuring that we can continue to support local businesses and drive positive change in Jefferson Parish.”
The Black & Gold Gala is open to the public, with ticket packages available for general admission, VIP access and young professionals. Proceeds from the event will go towards the Chamber’s initiatives in public policy, advocacy and quality of life improvements.
