Gentilly Fest 2024 Oct. 11th-13th

NEW ORLEANS – Celebrate Gentilly Fest Oct. 11, 12 and 13. Head over to Pontchartrain Park playground, corner of Press and Prentiss drives, for a weekend of music, food and family fun. With three stages of live music, the festival will be “rocking” all weekend. Our dedicated sponsors are committed to participating in this annual event that helps make our city special: great neighborhoods, music, artists and delicious food.

On Friday night Oct. 11, at 6 p.m. the festival will kick off the “Jazz under the Stars” concert series sponsored in partnership with Love Notes Music & Arts Foundation. The musical lineup begins with DJ Juane Jordan, Girls Play Trumpets Too, Troy Sawyer & The Elementz, and All Strings Attached featuring Michael Ward & Sons Shaun & Cortes. All main stage artists are sponsored by the New Orleans Cultural Tourism Fund and are hosted by our special guest Malik Mingo.

Main Stage, Saturday, Oct. 12: the festival will kick off at noon, the Main Stage acts include Kari Jay Terrence & The Fortress, JP Latin Band, Shaggadelic & The Raw Revolution, NOLA Resistance, Royal Essence, DJ Spin Griffey, Jeff Floyd (I Found Love on a Lonely Hwy), and closing with Hot Boy Ronald.

Gospel Tent, Saturday, Oct. 12: this popular attraction will be sponsored by St. Thomas Community Health Center and Metropolitan Human Services District. It will feature soulful performances by choirs from throughout the city. The lineup includes Annointed 2 Worship, St. Raymond- St. Leo Choir, Park Community Choir, Grace United Methodist Church, Watson Memorial, Greater St. Stephen FGBC Choir, Tyronne Foster, Arc Singers, DC Cross, and Tonia Scott & The Anointed Voices.

Main Stage, Sunday, Oct. 13: DJ B Sharp, Blair Dottin Hayley, Iris P, Juice, T-Ray the Volinist & The Trendsetters, BRW, Rochelle Cook & REE Generations, and closing with CUPID.

Gospel Tent, Sunday, Oct. 13: the lineup is as follows: Bethel Colony South Mens Ministry, The Annointed Joylettes, Shades of Praise, Creative to Worship, Craig Adam & the Voices of New Orleans, Felicia Travis, Jada Tanner and Bishop Tyronne Jefferson and “DA” TAB

The festival offers food from various local vendors and caterers. In addition, Folgers Coffee will offer festival attendees their coffee products.

Numerous Arts & Crafts vendors will showcase and sell their beautiful creations. These artists and small business vendors will have something to offer everyone.

City of New Orleans Cultural Fund is sponsoring The Kids Village, which will provide a Kids Entertainment Stage showcasing our talented youth, face painting, storytelling and activities for everyone. This year Gentilly Fest will introduce the “Kids Village Youth Entrepreneur Program,” which encourages youth to sell products they create.
