El Paso Mexican Grill in Metairie will celebrate National Tequila Day on Saturday, July 24, starting at 11 a.m.
METAIRIE — The all-day, family-friendly event, located at the restaurant’s home at 601 Veterans Memorial Blvd in Metairie, will feature children’s activities, music and drink specials.
Tequila tastings begin at noon, with silver tequila featured from noon until 2 p.m., reposado from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and añejo from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Premium and gourmet mixed cocktail specials will be available all day, along with 2-for-1 small house margaritas.
Local DJs will provide music from noon until 4 p.m. David Jesús will be featured from noon until 5 p.m., and Latin musicians Julio & Cesar will perform live from 6 p.m. to closing
Children can participate in balloon art and face painting, with entertainment from local clowns.
