GRETNA – Gretna Mayor Belinda Constant and other dignitaries will reveal the lineup for Gretna Fest 2024 at a press conference to be held Monday, July 15, at 10 a.m. at the Gretna City Hall Council Chambers located at 740 2nd St. (corner of 2nd Street and Huey P. Long Avenue).
This year’s Gretna Fest will be held in the fall, starting on Friday, Oct. 4, and running through Sunday, Oct. 6.
“Gretna Fest is always such a wonderful event – not only for the City of Gretna but also for the entire New Orleans area,” said Mayor Constant. “We’re very excited about acts we have lined up for this year, and I can’t wait to announce them. We’re ready to get people talking about and looking forward to Gretna Fest 2024!”

Ticket prices are $40 for a Single Day Pass and will allow re-entry to the Fest. A 3-day Weekend Pass is $90. Admission for children ages 5 to 12 is only $5, and children aged 4 and under get in FREE. Want a more unique experience?! Friends of the Fest passes include a covered, elevated area to enjoy all three days of the fest, along with access to a private bar and vendors for $225. No additional fees. Like last year, all transactions and tickets will be handled with an RFID wristband.
“The RFID wristbands were new last year, and it took a little time for people to get used to them,” Mayor Constant added. “But they turned out to be a huge success. Folks really came to appreciate how easy and convenient they made going to the Fest.”
Gretna Fest 2024 promises to be bigger and better than last year – with even more delicious food, great arts & crafts, and family fun. This year’s event will feature Villages including the Artists’ Village, which features local artists, we are bringing back rides and games as part of Kids’ Corner, and our Club Backstage. Located in the Gretna Cultural Center for the Arts, the Club Backstage will feature live music, a full bar, and much more.
