Bombay Club Announces Fall Live Music Schedule

NEW ORLEANS – The Bombay Club in the French Quarter has announced its live music performance schedule and inclusion in the NOLA x NOLA music celebration. Live performances will take place in the cocktail lounge from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday with rotating performances by local artists.

Weekly performers include Harry Mayronne on Wednesdays, Shawan Rice on Thursdays, Anna Bernard on Fridays, and Anaïs St. John on Saturdays. On Sunday evenings, the Loyola University Jazz Trio will feature a rotating group of students from Loyola University New Orleans majoring in Music Performance/Jazz Performance.

The second annual NOLA x NOLA music festival is a citywide celebration of New Orleans music and culture, running from Sept. 23 through Oct. 9. Bombay Club will feature ten performances:

Harry Mayronne & Yvette Voelker at 8 p.m. on September 28
Shawan Rice at 8 p.m. on September 29
Anna St. Bernard at 8 p.m. on September 30
Anais St. John and Daniel Meinecke at 8 p.m. October 1
The Loyola University New Orleans Jazz Trio featuring Jordan Bush at 8 p.m. on October 2
Harry Mayronne & Nanci Zee at 8 p.m. on October 5
Shawan Rice at 8 p.m. on October 6
Anna St Bernard at 8 p.m. on October 7
Anais St. John at 8 p.m. on October 8
The Loyola University New Orleans Jazz Trio featuring Izzy Chase at 8 p.m. on October 9

In addition to the new music schedule, Chef Jimi Setchim recently released a new brunch and dinner menu featuring shareables such as smoked salmon with traditional accoutrements and a ploughman’s board with English cheese, smoked alligator sausage, prosciutto, chutney and seasonal jam, house pickles and grilled ciabatta. Brunch, served Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM, includes bottomless mimosas, corned beef hash, fried chicken and waffles, bananas foster French toast, and a champagne and gruyere omelet. For dinner, guests can expect dishes such as beef and mushroom pie, tikka masala, fish & chips, shepherd’s pie, and Southern fried chicken Korma.

Happy Hour at Bombay Club is Wednesday through Sunday, 4 to 7 p.m. Wine and beer specials, as well as seasonal specialty cocktails are available.
