This event is free and open to the public and will take place at the bookstore, located at 8123 Oak St. Copies of all of the panelists’ books may be purchased before or during the event. More about the event here.

Darby Baham is an author and storyteller on a mission to make women like herself feel seen and believe that love is possible for them, yes them. The former Times Picayune and Washington Post contributor often uses her doubts, hopes, and fears to connect with her readers and inform the themes in her Harlequin romance series, The Friendship Chronicles. The fifth book in the series, Falling for the Competition, releases November 26, 2024, continuing her love letter to female friendships and offering an intimate look into the dynamic love lives of Black women.

Farrah Rochon is the New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author of 40-plus adult romance and young adult novels, novellas, and short stories, including the popular Boyfriend Project series from Forever Romance and Almost There of Disney Book’s Twisted Tales series. When she is not writing in her favorite coffee shop, Farrah spends most of her time reading, traveling the world, visiting Walt Disney World, and catching her favorite Broadway shows.

A.H. Cunningham is an introvert that weaves lovey-dovey romance and erotica. Her characters are Black and Multicultural adults, trying to navigate their grown folk lives while contending with all the horny feelings and falling hopelessly in love in their journey. In her writing, you will find a deep love for the entire Black Diaspora and all the ways they connect through their heritage. When A.H. is not writing, you can find her reading, snacking at odd hours, dancing the newest Panamanian hit, or playing the metaphorical Tamborine as herfamily navigates a new move.

Scarlett Miller, a proud lifelong New Orleanian, channels her deep passion for reading into every aspect of her life. As the co-founder and facilitator of the NOLA Expressions Book Club—a vibrant community that connects readers both in-person and virtually—Scarlett thrives on sharing the magic of literature with others. When she’s not immersed in the world of books, she dedicates her time to writing across genres, from fiction to non-fiction and beyond.

A true Pop Culture Princess, Scarlett is an avid ‘fangirl’ with a love for countless fandoms. Her eclectic taste spans all genres, but horror and romance hold a special place in her heart. Whether it’s through the pages of a book, the scenes of a movie, or the beats of a song, Scarlett embraces all forms of storytelling with enthusiasm and an open mind.
