NEW ORLEANS – Cafe NOMA will host another Artful Palate Cooking Demonstration on May 10. This demonstration is with Egyptian-born Chef Khaled Hegazzi of Sittoo’s Kitchen in NOLA and Retiba Hegazzi, currently enrolled at NOCHI (New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute), to celebrate the “Queen Nefertari’s Egypt” exhibit.
When: 6-7 p.m.

Demo Dish: Mahshy (dolmas) – grape leaves stuffed with freekeh (grain) pilaf, served with labneh

Attendance Details: Free for Cafe Guests with seating on a first come first serve basis. Attendees who would like to also visit the museum galleries must purchase admission either in advance online or upon arrival.
