NEW ORLEANS — The Tulane Student Film Festival, celebrating Tulane’s expanding, vibrant student filmmaking community, is taking place on Wednesday, April 23rd, at the McAlister Auditorium. The event is completely free and will include film screenings, prizes, and food provided by Canes, Bubs, and La Cocinita. There will be a first screening at 5:00 pm, and a second at 7:15 pm, followed by the awards ceremony.
Since the festival’s inception in 2022, Tulane has seen substantial growth in student filmmaking interest and activity. Through the work of students in the SLAM 3914 “Film Festivals” course taught by Jolene Pinder, The Tulane Student Film Festival has become the central annual celebration of our campus’ hard-working, talented student filmmakers.
