NEW ORLEANS – The 2024 Pokémon North American International Championships is coming to New Orleans for the very first time the weekend of June 7.
At the official Play! Pokémon family-friendly event, Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), Pokémon video game, and Pokémon GO competitors will battle for the coveted title of North American International Champion, valuable Championship Points that count towards an invite to the upcoming World Championships, and a portion of up to $500,000 in scholarships and prizes. But the fun doesn’t stop there… attendees will also have access to exclusive merchandise at the first-ever NOLA-based Pokémon Center pop-up shop, photo opps with Pikachu and friends, and so much more.
