Megalodon Monster Jam Truck Heads to Audubon Aquarium

NEW ORLEANS – You don’t have to be a diver to see the largest shark ever at Audubon Aquarium. The newly renovated Aquarium is home to plenty of sharks inside its exhibits, but this week will have an even bigger shark outside the building.

Audubon Aquarium is hosting the Megalodon Monster Jam Truck and its driver Cory Rummell for a special free meet-and-greet while the Megalodon is in New Orleans. Fans can take photos and meet the driver of the Megalodon Monster Jam Truck on the Aquarium Plaza on Thursday, July 6, from 1–5 p.m.

The Megalodon Monster Jam truck is based on the look of the giant shark. It officially joined the ranks of Monster Jam trucks in 2016. This isn’t an ordinary truck – it weighs 12,000-pounds and features foam fins to create a life-like shark wiggle when it competes on the track.

Megalodon and other Monster Jam trucks will compete in Monster Truck Jam at Caesars Superdome on Saturday, July 8. Tickets are available and on sale through Ticketmaster or at the door.

It’s free to see the Megalodon Monster Jam Truck at Audubon Aquarium…no dive equipment needed.
