METAIRIE – Greater New Orleans Federal Credit Union, GNO FCU, is pleased to announce its 2021 Enola M. Fee Scholarship recipients, Connor Morris and Corrine Cheramie-White.

The Enola M. Fee Scholarship Program was established in honor of Enola M. Fee, a distinguished board member, who selflessly devoted many years of service to the credit union and the community. In keeping with Enola’s spirit of volunteerism, applicants submit essays highlighting how they hope to deliver the credit union philosophy throughout their lives.

“Being raised in the Catholic church I’m reminded by the teachings that God gives us gifts, all different and all-important. It’s important to honor those gifts by sharing them with people in need,” said Connor, who is graduating from Metairie Park Country Day School. Connor plans to attend Texas Christian University this fall.

“I aspire to do service beyond what is required of me. Service brings me fulfillment; however, I yearn to have a larger impact through my service than on only myself,” said Corrine, who is graduating from Mount Carmel Academy. Corrine will be attending Auburn University this fall.

Both recipients embody the credit union philosophy and share a passion for service. We were touched by the authenticity of their essays and are so proud to honor these two amazing students. Help us congratulate Connor and Corrine on being selected. We wish them the best of luck in all of their future endeavors!
