NEW ORLEANS – The Misi by Messina’s at Jax Brewery expands from one to two floors of event space with the grand opening of the Nouveau River Room. The newly completed fourth-floor build-out will debut with two private parties on opening night. Featuring a 500-person capacity, multiple patios with panoramic views of the river, and a modern design, the team behind the project shares the new space allows for multi-level events accommodating up to 1,000 guests.

To mark the opening, The Misi will host Fête du Nouvel An, an all-inclusive New Year’s Eve Celebration featuring views of the French Quarter and Mississippi River fireworks. The French-inspired evening, curated by Chef Dominique Macquet, will showcase a menu including Black Angus Beef Bourguignon, Coq au Vin, Grilled Fish Fumet, and a Seafood Tower. Guests will also enjoy premium spirits and specialty cocktails such as French 75s, Tiramisu Martinis, Boulevardiers and a Champagne New Year’s Eve Toast at midnight.
Entertainment will feature The Top Cats, returning for their 19th consecutive New Year’s Eve performance, along with live DJs on the heated and covered patio overlooking the French Quarter, a Dohm Collective silent disco and other festive surprises throughout the night.
