NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Wine & Food Experience has announced it is taking its show on the road. For the first time, NOWFE will travel to Denver, Colorado in partnership with BECNEL Group, where NOWFE will host several events from August 30 through September 2, 2021. “This is an exciting opportunity for us to share our award-winning event with people from around the country that may not have been able to travel to New Orleans,” said Aimee Brown, NOWFE Executive Director. “We will be celebrating all things New Orleans and collaborating with chefs and owners who share a New Orleans connection.”

American Elm welcomes you to a New Orleans-themed dinner showcasing the exciting duo of chefs behind New Orleans’ legendary Tujague’s Restaurant, New Orleans’ second oldest dining institution, operating in New Orleans for 160 years! Executive Chef Cornelius Singer and Chef Marcus Woodham of Tujague’s and Latter Hospitality will join Executive Chef Brent Turnipseede of American Elm to share their take on New Orleans cuisine paired with exquisite wines. American Elm will also be serving their award-winning cocktails throughout the evening. This is seating by reservation any time that is available between 5-9 p.m.. In the gorgeous courtyard of Bigsby’s Folly Craft Winery, we will celebrate all things New Orleans cocktails with Jewel of the South’s, Chris Hannah, New Orleans mixologist extraordinaire. This walk-around social event will have a taste of what it means to drink in New Orleans while also giving attendees a taste of Bigsby’s incredible wines. Bigsby’s will provide small bites to pair with Chris Hannah’s take on classic New Orleans cocktails. Expect Hurricanes, Creole Cocktail, Night Tripper, French 75, Milk Punch, Pimm’s Cup, and the iconic Brandy Crusta, the first sugar-rimmed cocktail in the world and the predecessor to the Margarita and Sidecar.
