In advance of hurricane season, the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) and the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce teamed up to bring you “Emergency Preparedness for Your Business,” a Prosper Jefferson seminar developed to ensure your business is ready for the unexpected.
The Jefferson Parish Emergency Management Department, JEDCO, and Chris Nuebel with the Southeast Louisiana Chapter of the American Red Cross will present attendees with a list of tools, information, and resources to ensure quick recovery and business continuity in the face of a crisis. In this seminar, you will learn about:
- Creating a disaster recovery and continuity strategy for your business
- Tools to help your business prepare for a disaster
- Disaster alert information
- Jefferson Parish re-entry placards and how to register for re-entry status after an evacuation
- Recovery assistance for businesses
