NEW ORLEANS – The City of New Orleans is excited to announce an informational session for its Set-Aside Program, which promotes opportunities for socially and economically disadvantaged businesses (DBEs). The session will occur on Today, Jan 15, at 5 p.m. at Orleans Tower, 1340 Poydras St., Suite 2140.
This program allows the City of New Orleans to allocate up to 25 percent of its contracts to certified DBEs, providing essential support to businesses that play a vital role in the local economy. During this informational session, attendees will learn about the benefits of the program, the application process, and how to get registered in the BRASS system to become eligible for future opportunities.
This event is a critical step in fostering inclusivity and equity within the City’s contracting process. Representatives from the City will be available to answer questions and provide guidance to ensure that all businesses can fully understand and take advantage of the Set-Aside Program.
