Louisiana-Based ASAP Looks to Take a Bite Out of New York City Business

Big Expansion for Delivery Company Entering Biggest US City

NEW ORLEANS — ASAP, the Louisiana-born company formerly known as Waitr, has taken its best-in-class food delivery service to the biggest market in the U.S. – New York City. The company that began food delivery in 2015 right here in Louisiana, and then expanded all through the South, has launched in New York.

Delivery service in New York is the latest substantial step for ASAP, as it builds its newly named brand. In addition to food delivery, the company now offers delivery of a wide variety of items, utilizing its “deliver anything ASAP” model. Products available for delivery include alcohol, grocery, convenience, and retail. ASAP just launched auto parts delivery from NAPA in Baton Rouge. Some in New York may already be familiar with which supplies in-stadium mobile ordering service for the New York Giants and the New York Jets. ASAP has a similar agreement with the home-state New Orleans Saints.
