NEW ORLEANS — Now That’s What I Call Queer is thrilled to announce “Keep NOLA Queer,” an eight-day-long celebration of the vibrant queer community in New Orleans. The series of events, taking place from September 2 to 9, will feature an exciting lineup of programming designed to showcase, uplift, and inspire the local LGBTQIA+ community.
Throughout the week, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities such as:
9/2: Now That’s What I Call Queer (an unapologetically queer dance party) at Twelve Mile Limit, 9:00pm – 1:00pm
9/3: Pottery Class at Byrdie’s, 5:00pm – 7:00pm
9/4: Now I See Daylight: A Taylor Swift Dance Party at Zony Mash, 1:30pm – 5:30pm
9/4: LGBTLOL Queer Comedy Showcase at Zony Mash, 7:00pm – 9:00pm
9/5: Renaissance NOLA at The Domino, 6:30pm – 11:00pm
9/6: Asking For a Friend at TBA, 6:00pm – 9:00pm
9/6: Gayraoke at The Domino, 10:00pm
9/7: The Light Set, The Chloé Marie Band, and Lydia Persaud at The Marigny Opera House, 7:00pm
9/8: Greeting, From Queer Mountain at AllWays Lounge & Cabaret, 7:00pm
9/9: Queer-De-Lis at The Broadside, 6:00pm – 10:30pm
At the end of the week, 20% of all events’ proceeds will be donated to House of Tulip.
